I got a new swing!!

Hi everyone...where is everyone anyway? I haven't heard from you all lately. I know Gramma Bryant's computer is on the fritz, but is anyone else out there up and running?! I have great news, I got a new swing. Mom says she was sure to get me the one with the 30 pound weight limit...if she keeps talking like that, she is gonna give me a complex. I am not sure whether or not I like it yet, but I will let you know as soon as I figure it out. Mom put me in it this morning and one minute I was screaming and the next...well, that is all I remember, ha! I have more good news, in case you didn't know. All of the Smells are now home together! Tomorrow, our friend Marcie is coming up to see us and we can't wait. We are also going to try to go have dinner with Uncle Bart in the city. Mom says it depends on me...I haven't the foggiest idea what she is talking about. I was born ready!! Mom and I have been out on the town alot lately. Yesterday we went to Frederick and she bought me the new swing and a super cool jungle aquarium for my crib. It is awesome except the batteries already went dead. We remedied that problem today with our trip to BJ's for dad's groceries. We got a super pack of C and D batteries. We also managed to stop at the vet and get a license for Sam; he's such a good doggie. Mom is really trying to get out my announcements. She really wants nothing more than to get those in the mail by the end of the week. There's just not enough time in the day OR hands! She is hoping dad will take care of me for a while this evening, just long enough to lick about 50 envelopes, YUCK! We got MacKenna's picture in the mail today, boy is she pretty! 5 weeks old tomorrow!

Hello! How is everyone out there? Me, doing great. Just snoozing right now on daddy's chest. Mom handed me off after her nap with me and now dad is doing the same. Isn't that nice of them to even hold me when I sleep? They sure must love me! This weekend Papaw Bill and his family came to see us. We had a nice time and hoped the kids weren't too bored. We are not too exciting around here to outsiders, but we sure do love our life. Aunt Abagail said she wasn't a bit bored. She was a big helper and even changed my poopy diaper! I really like Lisa too; she loves to snuggle me and hold me. My papaw was even able to calm me down when I was really upset which is no small feat. Papaw even let uncle Nathan held me for a split second until mommy stole me away and fed me (she really has a hard time letting go of me!) I am eating really well and still growing like a weed. Mom and dad think I have gained at least a pound this week. Mom got my birth announcements she ordered in the mail on Friday, so everyone, please be looking for those in your mailbox soon! They turned out great; of course, how could they not as I am such a beautiful boy...or so mom and dad tell me every second of the day! We are settling in really well into our little routine and you should see what a great little sleeper I have been this past week. Mom says I am so considerate. I figure it is the least I can do after she feeds me and kisses me all day. We are so in love. We heard from mom's friend Leah the other day, she is so cool, and mom says she is so beautiful and intelligent. I can't wait to meet her! Mom's friend Niala is maybe coming to see me later this week. We can't wait for that either, I know she's the best! So nice to have all of these visitors. My aunt Amber and her family were going to try to come this week as Jim's dad is now out of the hospital thank goodness. We are hoping to pencil in a reservation for them very soon. 4 weeks old yesterday!!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing fine. I am great, snoozing in my snugli, having a pretty good Monday. Mom hasn't been able to put me down for the past two days, but she swears she doesn't mind. Between me and you I think her back is really beginning to hurt! I was 10 pounds and 22 inches long yesterday at my 4 week old check up. I am in the 95th percentile for height! Can you believe that?! You will all be happy to know that my ingrown toenail is much better. I went to the doctor for it on Friday (I know, mommy is a 1st timer) and we have just been soaking it since then. It is alot less angry looking; mom says I have daddy to thank for it! That's ok, we love him anyway. I had a great visit with gramma and grampa Bryant. Grampa kept taking naps with me, you should see all of the pictures I have of us snoozing. Mom and dad went to town on Saturday afternoon while gramma and grampa watched me. Mom only called them once in 2 hours. Baby steps! Dad is back to work today and making up time from his snow day last week. We miss him so much when he has to go to work, but someone has to bring home the bacon! We had some ice storm here in Maryland last week. Ice as thick as cement! Of course, I didn't get out in it, dad says maybe next year! I can't wait for that. Other news...my papaw Bill and his family are coming up to see me this weekend. Also, mommy's friend Niala called today and said she might come and see us next week. Mom and dad's friend Liz also said she might be stopping by this week. We are so excited to see everyone and we are loving all these visitors. I miss my gramma and grampa Bryant already. I hope they will come back soon. Maybe the Costello gang will be able to make it soon too. We sure are looking forward to it. Uncle Bart is coming to the city soon and we hope to drive in to meet him or that he will be able to make it out for an evening or two. Well, I better run. Happy Belated Valentine's Day!!

HI!! Hope everyone had a great Valentine's day! Mine was good. I have been a VERY hungry guy this week. Mom says she feels like a milk cow, haha. I hope the Valentine I got her will make up for all the nighttime feedings and fussiness this week. She says she doesn't mind one bit, anything for me! I must be quite the charmer. She ordered birth announcements for me today and is excited to send them out to everyone. She and dad must be proud of me or something! Today I am posting a picture of me with Grammy & Pappy J. I had such a nice visit with them and I want to share our most memorable moment. Take a look...I think they were a little rusty, hahaha. I broke them in well. Monday was really quite a day. I pooped on mommy. Of course, she said she wasn't mad but I ruined her new pajama bottoms. She said I could poop on all of her pj bottoms. True love. We are having a great time hanging out. I think she is dreading going back to work already. Good news, I think I told you, Gramma and Grampa Bryant are coming this weekend. Grampa is even skipping his basketball game to come and see me. Everyone loves me so much. Papaw Bill called us this morning while I was eating breakfast. I know mommy really misses him and can't wait for us to meet. Dad fixed mom Valentine's dinner last night and would you believe I actually slept through the whole thing?! They kept thanking me for my timing, whatever that means?! Well, I better run, I am sleeping in my Snugli (mom says it is the best invention since sliced bread) and it is getting close to time to eat (my most favorite time of the day). 3 weeks old tomorrow!

Hello everyone! Sorry it has been a few days since my last post. I have been busy growing, eating, and getting more handsome every day. Mom and Dad had another visitor this week. Dad's old friend came by to see us and spent Saturday night with us. We have great news too, my "aunt" Heather had a little girlfriend for me. McKenna Grace Halfin was born on Saturday morning at 1:26 am. They are both doing great and I sure can't wait to meet her. I know she'll be a looker!! I got some new sleep gear because mom is so neurotic...I have to admit though, I am quite comfortable. I especially like my new bear that makes womb sounds although I think it may have a short, always when I am most upset, of course. Hopefully we can get it replaced ASAP. Mom and dad call it a lifesaver for some reason, so I hate for them to go without. Gramma and Grampa Bryant are coming to see me this weekend. I can't tell you how excited I am to meet Grampa Bryant; he is busy coaching basketball and working so he has yet to make it down. I am also excited to meet my Papaw Sloan. He, Lisa, aunt Abagail, and uncle Nathan have been trying to make it up to see us, but they have been busy. Great Grandma and Grandpa Sloan had an anniversary party last weekend, and this weekend was aunt Abagail's birthday. Happy 8th birthday to her!! She had a pool party and I wish I could have been there with her to celebrate. Hopefully next year. Aunt Amber and uncle Jim and cousins Kirk, Kamrie, and Kent are also planning a trip soon. We are all hoping Jim's dad is feeling better very soon! Cousin Stephanie and her family may be coming up too, and we can't wait for Grammy Jarrell to return and maybe bring Great Grandma Hively. So many visitors...we are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!! Well, I am busy sleeping for the first time today and mommy is hungry so we have to go. Dad is fixing her cereal for dinner. The dinner of champions, haha. Please write to me as soon as you get a chance. I'll be thinking of all of you, especially you aunt Amber and uncle Jim and keeping you in my prayers.

I'm 2 weeks old!!

Hi All! This is me during my first bath in the picture I promised you. Dad wanted mom to be sure not publish any illicit photos. We figured this one was G rated! I enjoyed my first bath, that is, until the warm water stopped. It's pretty chilly on a little guy with no clothes on! I had a great visit with G&P Jarrell and now Gramma Bryant is here helping mom and hanging out with us. We hope she is having fun; we aren't too exciting these days, but we sure enjoy ourselves! I went to my 2 week visit yesterday. Can you believe I gained 8oz. in one week?! I went from 8lbs. 10oz. to 9lbs. 4oz.! I have been doing really well. I have my days and nights a little mixed up, but I am starting to sleep for longer stretches during the night. Sometimes I sleep for over 3 hours. My daytime naps are very restful; at times mom has to wake me to eat so I won't get too hungry. I have a little diaper rash, but I got to hang out today without my diaper on and it is getting better. Whew, sweet freedom! Mom thinks I am growing like a weed. She is looking forward to the weekend because we have missed Dad so much since he has been back to work, we'll get some quality family time in and we can't wait. Hope you all have a great day! Good Morning!!

Hi Everyone!! Hope you are having a great morning so far. I am snoozing away in my crib and Grammy and Pappy Jarrell are preparing to head back home : (. We have had a super great time. They saw me get my first bath yesterday; I'll post those pics later today or tomorrow. Of course as soon as I got clean, I peed on mom 3 times!! I even peed on the kitchen faucet! How about that?! Also, Dad saw my first 2 smiles. Can you believe it? Mom was in the bathroom; she was so sad that she missed it! Dad said I looked right up at him and smiled and Grammy and Pappy saw it all! Everyone but mom, go figure. I promised her not to worry though, I have plenty of smiles to go around. I really enjoyed my bath, that is, until I got out from under the warm water and got my pretty robe on. Gets a little chilly on a small guy, and that's when the water works started. I am doing great though, well taken care of and spoiled already! It feels wonderful that everyone loves me SO much. I haven't been put down all weekend!! Better go, I am probably gonna be hungry pretty soon. I will write more later and get you some pics of my bath. I'll warn you, I am one handsome boy without my clothes on...these pics to follow aren't for the faint at heart! HAHA. Love to everyone, Cooper

Hello Everyone!! I am back in action today! Thank goodness, mommy is such a dodo! Can you believe she ate sauerkraut?! She has promised me a freebie when I get into mischief when I get older. She tried to use her labor on my birthday, but I told her that wasn't my fault. So we have had more visitors; can you believe how popular I am? Mom's friends from work came yesterday, Miss Robin and Miss Kathy, and then my Grammy and Pappy Jarrell came last evening. I had finally calmed down by the time they arrived. They were so happy to see me, they love me already! I am feeling lots better today. I didn't sleep all day yesterday, from 10am until about 9pm, so I slept very well last night. I got up refreshed all bright and early at 5:00am. Mom and dad were so happy to see that I am better. Mom's heart was broken all day yesterday because I cried so much and she didn't know what to do. She kept telling me how sorry she was. We also had the insurance adjustor come by yesterday. They are planning on cleaning out our heating ducts next week. The smell is much better and dad has done wonders to the basement. He is so awesome, I want to be just like him when I grow up. Well, I better run. I have posted the news of my belly button freedom and my picture with grammy and pappy. Belly Ache

Sorry for not posting any photos today, I have had a belly ache all day.....mom ate some sauerkraut!!! I do have some news. My umbilical cord fell off today. I will post pictures tomorrow when I'm feeling better. Mom says I can take a real bath now.
My gramma Jarrell is coming tonight to spend the weekend and then my gramma Bryant will be here Sunday. Looking forward to an exciting weekend. Gotta run for now, check back tomorrow for pictures.
