Hello out there!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to show you how much I love my teddy bear. We are great friends! I also wanted you to see my Easter towel. I told mom it was ridiculous, but I am game if it makes her happy. I told her she owes me one. Today is mom's day off, and we are having a great time. We went to Target and Safeway, our usual Thursday routine. When we got home, we had lunch and right now I am napping away on the boppy in the spare bedroom. I hope everyone received the last set of pictures. As you can surely see I am getting to be a big boy! Mom and dad are so proud of me. This week I am reaching and grabbing with both hands. Isn't it wonderful when you get your hands to do what you want them to AT THE SAME TIME!! It really is the little things in life. I can't remember if I told you about my new cousin and my new friend. Katelyn McKenna (pardon my spelling if it's incorrect) was born in the beginning of April to cousin Valerie. We received some pics of their beautiful family today and we are so happy for them. Also, welcome Brady Michael Swiger, born March 28, weighing in at 9 lbs., 3+ ounces! Another big boy, and he sure is handsome. We have heard from mom, Angie, and all are doing well. For those of you who don't know, these are college friends of mom and dad's and Boom, Brady's dad, was my dad's roommate for a few years. They're great people and we can't wait to meet Brady AND Katelyn. Very exciting. Other news...we heard from Grammy J today and her friend's father passed away last night. Jean's father Jack was a wonderful soul, please keep them in your prayers. Grammy said she was maybe going to come and see me until they heard the news. Maybe next time. Our friend Niala may be coming up to see us this weekend...I can't wait to show her how much I have grown. We have expanded to some more readers, now Ms. Michele, my babysitter is checking in on us. We are going to try to post her pic and some of my new friends when we get a chance. Let's see...mom and dad planted flowers this weekend and BOY do they look nice. Dad actually trusted mom to pick out the paint AND paint the front door and the cement planters. Please don't tell her but she is not very good at painting. Dad had to go back and give the door a second coat and fill in some missing spots on the planters. I would never hurt her feelings but I hope I get dad's artistic abilities! Well, it's hard to sleep and write, so I think I will sleep some more. I hope you are all doing well. I will keep you posted. Lots of love and thanks for subscribing to my news. Cooper B.

I'm 3 months old this week!

Hello everyone! Hope all are well. We are doing great. You wouldn't believe what a big boy I am becoming! I continue to amaze mom and dad every day. You will also be happy to know dad and I had a relaxing Wed. evening. I snoozed from 6:30 until about 9:30. I really didn't even wake up to see mom, only to get a bite to eat, then back to bed. Mom and I had a talk yesterday morning and I agreed to try to keep it in check for dad while she was at work. Am I a wonderful boy or what?! Ms. Michele said she was also going to do her part and get my belly nice and full, get a nap for me, and give me a clean diaper. Apparently those two are conspiring to make me REALLY happy! Of course, I can't complain! As we speak, I am yelling at mom, not mad, just exercising my adorable voice. I don't know if I told you, but over the past two weeks I am reaching and now grabbing objects. I have a blue telephone rattle that fits easily in my hand. I also LOVE my bugs on my car seat and my monkey from Grammy J. I sometimes hypnotize myself and fall asleep by looking from one to the other and back again while I am in my car seat. Of course, I am the cutest. My new rabbit, foo-foo, pictured in my last post is also so much fun to play with...it feels so good when bunny rubs my face and head--thanks gram and gramps B! I love him. Other news, we hope cousins Kamrie and Kirk have fun at their prom. Tomorrow is aunt Dawn's birthday. The southerly Bryants should be back home by now and we hope they are settling back in and everything falls into place for moving aunt Deb's family up. Finally, we are so thankful today, everyday in fact, for God watching over Gramma B, aunt Amber, cousin Kamrie, and Kamrie's boyfriend Coby this past Sunday. They were in a bad car accident, but everyone is OK. The honda has a broken leg and back and we are hoping it can be salvaged...keep your fingers crossed. And remember out there, count your blessings too. You are all on our list as we think of, miss, and love you all. Hoping to see you soon, hugs and kisses, Cooper PS: I have posted a pic of what my mom says is one of her two greatest blessings, she says dad an me make her so happy; as you can see, she is all smiles!

Peter Cottontail, bunny foo foo, happy Thursday to you!

It is truly hard to say where I get my great looks, HA! My dad is such a handsome guy; I know you all agree. I hope the Easter bunny was good to you. He certainly was to me. I got some new chimes to hang on Dad's car seat so I won't scream all the way home when he picks me up. So he says anyway, I prefer to think of it as my vocalization time. A baby must exercise his vocal cords strenuously on occasion to perfect his speech. I just happen to like to do so while in the back of the Honda on rides home with dad. PURELY COINCIDENCE...anyway, I love the new toys, frog and duck. Mom got them for the sole purpose of dad's intense love of wind chimes. She says he shares this passion with Gramma B. I also got a new mobile mobile. It makes bubble noises and plays a little tune, love it! Gramma B brought me some kinder eggs. They have a surprise toy inside. Dad hid them around the house for Easter. He and mom helped me find and eat them. In fact, they didn't share the chocolate with me at all. Not nice. Gramma got me a beautiful bunny and a monkey book. I think mom is jealous, she keeps playing with the monkey! I also got a new bunny towel, a bumbo chair, a bunny rattle with a mirror on his tummy, and some socks! I didn't want to hurt mom's feelings, but I don't know what Easter bunny is thinking?! I mean, who puts socks in an Easter basket?! Seriously...oh be sure to check out the battler babies blog link at the bottom of my page. Those Smells are growing like weeds and GORGEOUS! They will brighten your day. Aunt Heather, Debbie, Mason, and my girlfriend MacKenna came to see us on Monday. It was so great to see them. MacKenna is a doll and so petite. Mason is as handsome as ever of course. I really like Aunt Heather, she's tall and beautiful, I snoozed on her shoulder and really enjoyed it. Well, I am writing alot and I have lots of pics to post so I will tell more in a few days. We are great, mom and dad take such awesome care of me. My dad is the absolute best...sometimes I yell at him alot but he never gets mad or tired of me. I will make it up to him someday! OK, take care, write me soon. Better yet, come and see me. Prayers and thoughts for aunt Deb and uncle Bart. Happy Birthday wishes on April 11 to JEN DUVAL and cousin STEPHANIE. Hope you both had a wonderful bday! Love and kisses, Cooper

HAPPY APRIL and GOOD FRIDAY TO YOU!!

HELLO OUT THERE! I hope everyone is having a great April so far. We thought for a second spring was here, boy were we mistaken! We are all doing great, Gramma and Grampa B and Clara and Ruby are here visiting us for Easter. I am charming the pants off of them, of course!! Good news, our fence is done. As soon as it warms up, I will get my picture taken to show you on my website. Now dad is pulling for a new weedeater...he tells mom it is to keep the grass nice for me to play in the yard. Of course, he is an expert as when it comes to me, mom will do ANYTHING to make me happy! And I am a happy boy. I hope you can see in all of my pictures. A happy birthday goes out to cousin Matt, we were thinking of him on Wed. Some very sad news...aunt Deb's mom passed away and we are sure sorry. We are thinking of them as they travel to Ga., please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Big news...over the past week to 2 weeks, I have started turning my head toward sound and trying to reach for the rattle, my bumblebee, and other interesting toys. Mom and dad are having a ball with me. I am so close to laughing out loud. I love trying to make noises with my mouth and my tongue, you shoule see how hard I concentrate when mom and dad blow raspberries at me! Ms. Michele, my babysitter, says I am starting to turn my head to listen to my friends there. She told Mom I had a lot of fun this week. Sometimes when Dad gets there to pick me up I might be a little upset, but he is so proud that as soon as I hear his voice, I stop crying, turn toward him, and give him my most winning smile. He deserves it! Also, maybe you haven't gathered what a huge sweetheart I am, but I am never crying when mom leaves me in the morning. Even though we are so sad to be apart, I try to be brave for her to make it easier for her to leave for work. I know it breaks her heart so I show her what a big boy I am! Mom is getting an Easter basket together for me. I promised her I would act surprised even though I was with her when she bought my presents. We did get a small surprise for daddy too. We hope he likes it. Don't tell him because we don't want to spoil Easter for him, he still believes in the Easter bunny. Mom and I have 5 days off together, in our opinion this is the nicest Easter present ever. All this talk about presents, don't think we have forgotten the real reason for this holiday. Mom and I talk about our blessings every day; we are so thankful for each other and for all of you out there, family and friends. Holidays always remind us how much we love and miss our family. We can't wait to see everyone, that's for sure! Dad is going to a German bakery today to get us some treats for the weekend. I think mom is going to take us all to Snickerdoodles today. I know she has one more item for my basket in mind and would also like to get a special treat for Gramma and Grampa. We appreciate them making the journey to be with us very much. Well, better run, I am falling asleep on the job. I am still growing like a weed, gooing and gaaing, and giving smiles away like they are going out of style. It's no wonder mom and dad are so madly in love with me. Upcoming events to keep in mind...cousin Stephanie's b-day is April 11 and aunt Dawn's is April 20. Wish we could be there to help them blow out their candles. Have a wonderful holiday and think of us. Love to all of you, Cooper
