It's almost June!

Hello blog fans! Hope everyone is great! I want to share my greats with you...aren't they just?! How lucky I am to have 2 great grandmas and one great grandpa! I can't wait to see them again; I sure hope it's soon. I want to tell you my news before I get to typing and forget...The big news is twofold, so hold on to your hats. First, I am now well aware of my feet. Here's the kicker, I can fit them into my mouth! Talk about hours of self-fulfilling entertainment. What I can't figure out, and maybe you can help me with this, is that mom and dad tell me my feet are SOOO stinky every day, yet they taste great to me? What do you think is going on here? Also, I am LAUGHING. Out loud. Mom, Dad, and Ms. Michele think it is the cutest sound ever! I like it best when they tickle my ribs or when mom and dad snuggle and kiss my neck. OH! Did I tell you what a wonderful time we had at Ms. Michele's and Mr. James's house on Sunday? We had so much fun. And not only is Ms. Michele a great babysitter, she is an exceptional cook. Mom also got to meet her son and Ms. Norma's daughter. So many nice people in one place. No wonder everyone gathers there! The other great surprise was hanging out with Ms. Norma. Mom and I like her so very much. I know mom appreciates me being such a popular guy and bringing so many new and special friends into her life. Other great news...mom got Wed. the 13th off! We get to go pick up Helen and spend the evening AND the next day with her. Isn't that the best news?! We can't wait for that, not much longer now. Tonight was cousin Kirk's baccalaureate. He is getting close. We sure have been thinking of him and aunt Amber lately. We know he must getting excited. Mom says its bittersweet, every time she thinks of me graduating she gets teary eyed. I try to reassure we have some time, but you know what a softy she is! Finally, please say a prayer for Grampa B. He had his stress test today, which is exactly as it sounds...stressful. We are all hoping for rave reviews, so keep him in your thoughts. We can't wait to see our PA family and give them all a big hug. We are also thinking of Grammy J and wishing her well for her appt. this week. Well, I better get some rest. Making everyone love me so much is taxing for a little guy! Lots of love and hugs and kisses. Cooper B.

Happy Memorial Day!!

Hello out there, I hope everyone is enjoying the 3 day weekend. I know we certainly are. Thanks to those of you for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it and I know Mom and Dad do too. They really look forward to reading your comments to me. Big news...uncle Nathan turned 7 yesterday! We talked to him yesterday and wished him happy birthday. Too bad we couldn't be there to share some of his chocolate cake. Also, probably not news to you, but since today is Memorial Day, I wanted to show you my greatest hero. Aren't we something? Now don't you forget to thank your hero today too. Dad hung our flag yesterday and boy do I like it! It is so pretty and it really dresses up the front porch. We went to a cookout yesterday at Mr. & Mrs. Hoover's house. I was really happy to meet them. We didn't stay long but they were excited I made my appearance and got passed around. They understood we had to run; you don't mess with a big boy's naptime. I was asleep before we pulled out of the driveway! How's that for timing? Speaking of sleep, I sure have been getting alot lately! I didn't know what I was missing! Thanks again to the Smell family for that! We also want to thank them for my carrier in the pic above (dad calls it a lifesaver?!) AND they sent us a book and a lovely card that almost made mommy cry. We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! We just wish they were all closer! Speaking of family, you know I have another big trip coming up. Pennsylvania or bust, and I can't wait. Also, two more great news items, mommy is crossing her fingers to have Wed the 13th of June off to go pick up our great friend Helen at the airport. The rewards of that are twofold...first of all, you know how much mom DISLIKES (read the h word) Wednesdays...can you imagine her not only getting that day off but being able to spend it with one of her best friends in the whole wide world? Not to mention, they really haven't spent any time together for 3 years! Can you imagine?! Please cross your fingers for her that they give her the day off. She may need it as the dr. is going on vacation for over a week and she is going to be having lots and lots of call and seeing all the pts. Whew! Enough of that, I don't want to get mom stressing about it just yet! Today we have big plans after my nap...we got invited to a cookout at Ms. Michele's house!! Hooray for us. Mom and dad are so thankful that at least I have some friends. I don't mind that they use me for a social life, poor guys, they deserve it. And I keep telling them, just try to be charming like me...I hate to think they are a hopeless cause. I mean, I am getting them invited to places, what more can a little guy do. I mean, do they expect me to do ALL of the work around here?! Next weekend, we have more big plans to go and see our friends in Middleburg, the Shermans. I know mom and dad, even Sam, can't wait! Well, I better run, my fingers are getting tired and dad is waiting to punish mom in his garage gym (read chamber of torture). Please write soon. Love to all of you and thanks to our service members, without them you wouldn't be reading this today! God bless, Cooper B.
PS: I forgot to tell you I am talking up a storm...I'm squealing and yelling and telling mom and dad BIG stories. Why can't they understand, maybe they should just be quiet for once and listen to me! ALSO, I am reaching for mom, dad, and even Sam. Finally, I rolled over from my back to my tummy (much more difficult to do than vice versa)...mom and dad are so proud of me. What a big boy I am becoming! Thank goodness for the blog to spread the news! Oh yes, please look for my upcoming movie on the blog, starring me, Cooper B., as myself...more soon.

I'm 4 months old!

Hello everyone! I couldn't wait to tell you about my big weekend. Can you believe I am 4 months old already? I had my first big road trip and I am such a good boy! 6 whole hours in the car. Actually it was more than that because I have to get out of that seat occasionally and see the world. I sure did like WV. Did you know I have a HUGE family there; so many relatives, and of course, they all loved me. I wish we could have had time to see more of them, but it's such a crazy schedule when we're there, we can only make it a few places. Mom says she feels bad running me all over the place, but I didn't mind. I loved seeing and meeting everyone, and I only got really mad on Friday night because I was so tired. I am becoming quite the napper these days. Mom and dad say thanks goes out to Jeff and Cyndy Smell. They say you can sure learn alot from the parents of triplets! Mom and dad said our visit with them was one of the craziest times they have ever seen. There were babies everywhere! They even had a scale. I weighed in at 16.10 oz. How about that? Those Smell babies were something else. I swear Brianna winked at me! We had such a nice time. We were passing babies around like hot potatoes. At one point dad had two girls on his lap, isn't that something? Sam even had a great time visiting with their dog, Shayna. Then we saw Papaw Bill, Lisa, Abagail and Nathan. Then on to Grammy and Pappy J's house for a few hours. I wanted to show G&P Jarrell my pipes; I yelled alot so they could see what a voice I have developed since they met me last. Needless to say, they were impressed. Saturday I met the greats. I am such a lucky guy to have 2 great grandmas and one great grandpa. I wish mom would hurry and download my pics from the weekend so you can see me with them. I got to meet lots of aunts and uncles, some cousins too. We didn't stay in one spot for too long, but mom says that's how it is when you are there. I have so much to tell you...I wanted you to know how big I am getting. I am nearly rolling onto my tummy from my back. If I could just figure out how to get my shoulder out of the way. I am reaching for everything and bringing it to my mouth, with both hands! Mom thinks I even reached for her today when she came home from work, how about that? Since I am such a big boy, we are planning another trip soon to PA to see cousin Kirk and celebrate his graduation with him. We are very excited to see our family and you know I will be such a wonderful boy again for the trip. You should see how big my teeth are getting! Now I barely have to open my mouth for you to see them! I get my big boy 4 month old shots this week. I know mom is worried, she loves me so much, but you know I will be fine; I am a tough cookie. You should see me putting down the cereal now. Don't tell mom, but she isn't very good at feeding it to me. Dad does it best and he doesn't get it all over my face and clothes! Well, I better run...more later. Thanks for checking in on me. As you can see, I am one happy little guy! Wish me luck on Thursday (really it's for mom). Love to everyone, Cooper B.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Click here to see me roll over! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2MbZ-5nT0. Check this one out too...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lrXTFNGO5c. I wanted to show you my mother's day surprise visitors too. Yep, that's gram and gramps B. They came to see me! And we had a great time! We were really sad to see them go. I hope you enjoy my video. I promise to sign autographs later. Hope you are all having a great day. Please be sure to see the beautiful flowers and pot to my left in the picture with mom. I painted the pot for mom. The flowers and apples on the trees are my finger and toe prints. Ms. Michele helped me. I also made a picture for mom with my hand and feetprints. She cried when Ms. Michele and I gave it to her. She also cried when daddy and I gave her our mom's day cards. She's a little sappy but she said this is her new favorite holiday because I make her a mommy! We want to wish Ms. Michele a very happy mother's day. We are so thankful to her; she's my mom away from mommy! I can't wait to see her tomorrow and play with my friends! I better run, dad is reading us the news. Love to all of you, can't wait to see you all this weekend! Cooper B.
PS: The B stands for big boy!

I rolled over from my tummy, both ways!

Hello out there! I have more exciting news today. Sunday, I rolled from my tummy to my right side then yesterday, I did it both ways! Isn't that the neatest? Before I forget, I would like to wish all the moms in the house a very happy mother's day. I know my mom says all the time she never had a clue what it was like to be a mom and she has quite a newfound respect for moms, especially the really great ones! I am enjoying a baby Einstein video right now in my swing. We just made a call to aunt Helen to wish her a happy 27th birthday. We didn't get her, but we hope she is out celebrating this great day. We are having a lightning storm up here in MD. It has been a beautiful day, very warm, but very humid. Mom and I and our neighbor Crystle went for a walk through town this morning then mom and I did the big town of Westminster. We did get our mother's day cards out today, so we hope they get to you on your big day, ladies. Mom also bought lots of chocolate, but don't tell dad, we didn't share with him, haha. We had homemade crab cakes and fruit for dinner tonight. It sure did look and smell good, but they still aren't sharing even though I have two teeth. We are pretty excited for the weekend, no solid plans, but we all like to hang out together so much. Mom keeps saying something about a cheesecake factory. You would have thought the two big pieces of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake from the Olive Garden this weekend would have cured her craving. Guess the cheesecake is a pretty rough habit! Well, I hate to go, but it is my bedtime and the whole sleep thing makes me sort of mad. I'm going to dream of my upcoming vacations and meeting and seeing my family. Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend and mother's day. I will try to post on Sunday. Until then, we'll be thinking of all of you. Take care. Lots of love with hugs and kisses, Cooper B.

PS: Hope you like the outfit, Dad bought the camoflauge for me. Now I am cool like him; no wonder mom calls me little Beau every day!

Happy May!

Hello all, I forgot to tell you happy May on Wednesday. I was so excited about my new tooth, I forgot about it being my very first May. Also, here is the picture I promised to post of Niala and me from last weekend. Good news, mom had a cold and she is feeling better; bad news, dad woke up with a scratchy throat this morning. The best news is, I am feeling fine! Oh yes, and...I NOW HAVE ANOTHER TOOTH!! Can you believe it?? We have done alot of hanging around this weekend. I have also been on several walks around town. Come to think of it, it's pretty funny how often we've been walking. I get very excited about going, then the next thing I know, I am already home again. Seems as if I am missing something which usually means mom and dad are up to being ornery again...Maybe I will try to keep an eye on them next walk (probably this evening) and see what those two crafty devils are planning. They think they've outsmarted me, but we'll see...Other news, please keep it under your hat, but they are force feeding me cereal. They both seemed so excited, I hated to tell them how crappy it tasted. I did keep spitting it right back out at them, but they are certainly persistent if not very bright. I heard them say something about my wakings shifting an hour, whatever that means, then say we will try some more tonight. Mom was very nervous at first, but after 3 tries, she is a bit less apprehensive. I even have this cool color coded blue spoon that turns white when the food is too hot. How about that? Thanks aunt Amber. I also want to say a great big hi and how do you do to the Blanchard family in NC. I found out today they have been tuning in since my arrival and we are all very proud they subscribe to my news. We are certainly hoping to meet you all soon Jerri, Tim, and Katie. By the way, I love the outfit you sent. I am still wearing it even though the pants legs are a bit short for a big boy. All the better to show off those sassy socks. I also snuggle in my pretty blanket almost every day. So thank you all so much for the gifts! I know I am a lucky little guy getting presents from people who have yet to meet me. Mom says we are truly blessed! Dad planted another flower garden today. He has quite the green thumb. I promise to post some pics of our pretty flowers. Mom and I water them together almost every day. We got our rooms for our big summer trips today to Charleston in 2 weeks and Philippi for 4th of July extravaganza. I can't wait...Cooper Bryant, little man about town. Still waiting for some visitors now that the weather is nice. I would love to show you our flowers and all of my new furniture dad is grumbling about. He says I have more furniture than he and mom! Surely he is exaggerating. I think he is just jealous because he can't fit into my jumperoo. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. Lots of love to all of you and thanks for checking in...Cooper B.

I HAVE MY FIRST TOOTH!!

First of all, let us apologize for the delay in getting this breaking news out to all of you. I told mom since I was feeling so grumpy to wait until I was ready to tell the world. 3 months old and a tooth! Mom and dad say that maybe they were right after all in their predictions about my teeth. I don't know what that means, but I think they are being fresh. Do you think they are teasing me? Don't worry, I am a big boy and I can certainly handle myself. We'll see how funny they are at 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5am tonight. If you would like to mark your calendar, this tooth made it's appearance on Friday, April 27. This blog goes out to Gramma B who said yesterday she waits with great anticipation for Thursdays. We thought we would throw this one in today for her surprise and of course, since we have such special news. Now about this tooth...I could have sworn I heard someone mention steak in regard to getting my tooth, but I have yet to get any of that, whatever it may be. I know mom and dad eat it nearly every weekend and it smells delicious. Alas, they are hogs and do not share with me. I overheard mom say she solicited my doctor for the cereal green light, but not yet...she must be getting desperate to get more sleep! Ha ha. I feel pretty bad for her, she has been whipped, maybe I will invite her to join me in my nap at Ms. Michele's. I want to take a minute and tell you about my friend, Ms. Michele. I have been such a good boy for her. We have had several days in the past week when I haven't cried at all for her. She's alot like mom, it breaks her heart when I cry. I have also been quite the napper at her house. I am taking 2 and 3 hour naps nearly every day. Isn't that something? Between you and me, she deserves it. She is a great person and she takes the best care of me. Mom is beside herself with gratitude. She still hates being away from me but at least she knows I am in wonderful hands. It doesn't hurt that Ms. Robin comes in to work each day around lunch and gives mom a report on how I am doing. This is just what she needs to get through the rest of her day. She says every minute she is gone is a minute closer in getting home to be with me. Isn't she sweet? I think I am probably too lovable for her to handle. Well folks, today is the dreaded Wednesday. We all hate the hump day here. Mom can't be home with me until 8pm, YUCK. I miss her and yell at dad who tries his best to console me. It's just bad. Poor dad keeps trying and poor mom is stressed all the while she is at work, seeing pt.'s, pumping, worrying about me and dad, and flying home to see me. I am going to try not to miss her so much today and take it easy on dad. I know how mom's heart breaks when she thinks I am crying and upset. It's definitely true love. So wish us the best today. And please remember Mr. Wasko in your thoughts and prayers. He had a recurrence of his throat cancer and has to have surgery. We have been and will continue to think of him and the Smells'. Please write or come to visit us soon. We haven't had famiy visitors in quite some time. Aunt Niala came to see me this weekend and brought me a present. We had a wonderful visit and I only yelled at her twice. We hope to see her again real soon, I'll post our pic soon. Take care out there, and please make room for great Grandma Hively in your hearts as well. She lost a dear friend over the weekend. I can't wait to meet her soon and cheer her up. Lots of love, hugs and kisses, Cooper
PS: Cousin Kamrie had her prom this past weekend and you should see how beautiful she looked. We can't wait to see more pics and hope she had a terrific time.
