Hello all! How in the heck is everyone doing? We are great, just preparing for our fourth of July extravaganza! While a little late, I want to say a belated happy birthday to cousin Carrie and Nanny Hively! I would have written last week, but things were sort of crazy. Dr. U was on vacation so mom had the office and the call. Needless to say, she was a little busy and a tad bit stressed. Good news is, she did it and all is well. I know I told you Helen and Liz were coming to see me; boy was it nice to meet them!! We are looking forward to seeing them again for Liz's wedding in Sept. I will post our pics so you can see what a way I have with the ladies already!! Good news, Ms. Michele and maybe Ms. Norma are coming to see us today, woohoo!! We are hoping they will stay and have dinner with us. Mom is breaking out the Snickerdoodles cake for the special occasion. Sorry Gramma B; we will save you a slice. Speaking of...did you know Gram and Gramps B came to see me again last Wed? They brought their friends Mary Ann and Glen. And the surprise guest, you will never believe it...uncle Bart! What a great Wednesday that was for everyone! Mom is just sorry she had to work late. She would have loved to spend more time with everyone. Gramps B took me for a walk and Gramma fed me dinner. Can't beat that with a stick!! We wish Gramma B would come back soon; she is dedicated to blog comments and we haven't had any since she went on vacation. Can you believe they went to the Keys without us?? Other news...we are heading to WV tomorrow to Philippi to see aunt Heather, MacKenna, Mason, the Smelly family, TD who shares my bday...so many others, you wouldn't believe. We already wish we could stay longer and we haven't even arrived yet. Gram and gramps B will be here tomorrow to hang out with me for a while until we head over the mountains. I can't wait!! There seems to be an underlying plan mom and dad are whispering about...something to do with better driving time while I sleep...last time they were up to no good I fell asleep in Maryland and woke up in PA. Fine by me, they don't have to be sneaky sneaks. What else...oh goodness, Dad has poison ivy. I don't know what is worse, the rash or the fact that mom is doctoring him! Don't tell her I said that. Dad is not a very good pt., he keeps talking about how the medrol is messing with his finely tuned body. He says it is making him ravenous...HA! Those of you who know my dad know he eats constantly regardless! My question is, with his appetite, how could he tell if he was hungrier than normal? Hee hee. Oh PS, I am sleeping like a big boy. Mom didn't want me to say it out loud, but I wanted to share the good news. Mom is letting me sleep where I land, and boy is it working out well! Last night I slept from 8:30 to 6am straight!! How about that? She thinks I don't feel her hand on my back checking on me every hour or so. I keep snoozing because it is relaxing to know how much I am loved. Dad is becoming a pro with me too; I haven't had to yell at him for quite a while. Must be he finally figured out how to behave himself! Ha! I better run. We have some packing to do. Only takes mom about two days to pack for a two day trip. Lord help us if we ever get a whole week! Love to everyone, please write soon, better yet, come and see us. Besides gram and gramps stopping by nearly every month, sometimes twice, we haven't had too many visitors lately! Hugs and kisses to all of you, Cooper B.
