Happy Easter!

Hello to you and a very Happy Easter too! We already celebrated our Easter here in UB. Dad had to go to a weightlifting certification this weekend, so the Easter Bunny came early for us this year. I must have been such a good boy because I got TWO baskets from that nice bunny! He hid all of the eggs mom, dad, brother and I made for him and I got to go outside and find them and then...there was a basket waiting for me in the yard and in my very own room from that bunny. Brother also got a basket although, don't tell him, but it wasn't nearly as exciting as mine! You know he still doesn't have teeth, so I had all of the goodies. He got some cereal, spoons, sweet potatoes and a bib in preparation for when they do decide to feed the poor guy. I think the bunny felt sorry that all brother can do is drink milk! I might try to save some candy and chocolates for him, but it is so delicious I can't make any promises. Speaking of delicious, we also planned well and bought a lemon cake from our favorite bakery for Gram and Gramps. We were hoping they would share it with us and share they did! What a sweet sensation! I have been having so many treats, I wish Easter came more than one time a year! Today I had potato chips and Pepsi for lunch, that certainly never happens in this house without gram and gramps. We are so thankful to have them here this weekend with dad away at the certification. Mom doesn't know what she would have done without them! We know dad is having fun, but we are really missing him here. Mom is making pork and sauerkraut as well as ham and sweet potatoes for dinner. She is hoping this will hold dad until Tuesday when she makes another round of food! Yesterday we went to my favorite store, Wal-mart, but I almost missed it while napping in the car. Mom thinks it is the neatest trick to drive around so I will fall asleep. But don't you all worry about Cooper B. because I am ON to her. Bless her heart, she drove around for almost two hours on Thursday to get me to nap. She told dad she is quite thankful gas prices went down. Otherwise, the nap thing could get quite expensive. Speaking of expensive, we are sure hoping you are hanging in there for this nasty recession. We have dialed back ourselves and mom is definitely feeling the pressure to get back to work! Before she does though, we are planning a vacation to see our family in WV. We are hoping to make it in the week of May 3, if all goes well. Mom, Jagger, and I are so looking forward to it; we wish dad could make it with us. We also have another visit to look forward to this upcoming weekend. Our cousin Stephanie and her family are coming to see us this Friday. Isn't that exciting?! If you see her, be sure to wish her a very happy birthday as well. I should probably run, you know all the Easter hub-bub and such. But please, take care and think of us. We hope you have a wonderful, joyous Easter. If you get a chance to drop in, please come on by. I assure you that brother and I will charm your pants off! That little guy is totally something...he had his first laugh this past Tuesday! I could talk about how sweet he is all day, but you should come by and see us both for yourself. Until then, we'll be thinking of and missing you. Lots of love, bunny kisses, and chocolate eggs, Cooper B.

Check out those cheeks! You boys are growing so quickly, auntie Helen wants to come see you very soon. What an exciting Easter you had, I always loved hunting those dyed eggs, and eating all those sweets. Keep enjoying the spring, and remember naps are a good opportunity to rejuice...and to let your mom do the same. Love Helen
